Pigmental Studios Acquires the Rights to Cherished “Serendipity” Children’s Book Series
Pigmental announced that it had acquired exclusive adaptation rights to the Serendipity children’s book series, with plans for potential film, television and interactive adaptations.
Pigmental Studios has acquired exclusive adaptation rights to the longtime children’s book series “Serendipity,” which has sold more than 80 million copies worldwide.
The agreement was described by officials from the St. Marys-based studio as a “landmark deal for children’s literature.” Marina Martins, CEO and creative director of Pigmental, expressed her excitement about the acquisition and outlined the studio’s vision for the books.
The acquisition expands Pigmental into family entertainment, with plans for potential film, television and interactive adaptations.
